AFL tips and predicitions: Round 18
The AFL is moving into the pointy end of the season with our experts logging their picks for round 18.
There were some shock wins in round 17 with none of the panel members picking the Bombers to beat the Saints.
All in all, ‘Hutchy’ was most successful last week picking 7 out 9 winners and boy did he need it with the commentator languishing at the bottom of the experts table.
The only games he missed were the Bombers and Bulldogs games, which everyone else couldn’t pick either.
Last week’s results means Rebecca still leads tight at the top of the table, with three tipsters tied on 82 while Shane and Craig are tied two points behind.
Billy knows he needs a big week if he’s to break away from the pack and pip Bec.
The former Hawk had several thinking caps on this week and believes the Crows are favourites against the Cats.
“The Crows for me,” he said.
Billy agreed with everybody about else when it came to the Swans and Bulldogs games but was split on all the others.
He’s tipping his former club to keep their recent form going with a win over Fremantle and picked Carlton to beat the Lions.
“And the last game is Brisbane and Carlton and the winner is Carlton you beauty.”
