At any given moment, chances are, I am wearing something from Uniqlo.

Whether it's my go-to baby tee and a classic pair of straight-leg jeans, right down to the activewear sets I choose to wear to the gym, scattered throughout my wardrobe are a series of affordable Uniqlo staples.

With an ethos based heavily around the idea of 'life wear', they aim to create simple, high-quality, everyday clothing, and in my humble opinion, I think they nail it every time.

As someone who religiously shops at Uniqlo, these are the five pieces I keep coming back to time and time again.

Mini T-Shirt

If you've been on the hunt for the perfect baby tee, then look no further because this is it. The Uniqlo Mini T-Shirt features a slightly capped sleeve and sits at the perfect cropped length that can be worn out or tucked in.

I personally size up in this top, so it isn't overly fitted but still has shape; however, since it is made from an ultra-soft cotton blend fabric with some stretch to it, your true size will still fit just as well.

JW Anderson Straight Jeans

These JW Anderson x Uniqlo jeans were easily the most-worn pants in my wardrobe in 2025, and considering they still look as good as new, I expect them to stay on heavy rotation during 2026 too.

I don't know what it is about them that makes them so perfect... whether it's the straight leg shape, the not-quite-high but not-quite-mid-rise fit, or the fact that this shade of denim pairs so well with every other colour, they are an absolute staple in my wardrobe.

JW Anderson Oxford Boxy Shirt

Another favourite from the JW Anderson collab is this Oxford Boxy Shirt.Currently, I own it in three different colours, and it works just as perfectly for office-casual as it does for weekend dinner and drinks.

As a shorter person, typically, I find that a boxy button-up can swallow me up and lack shape. So if you're a fellow short girlie, consider this a PSA because this shirt sits at the most flattering cropped length.

I know what you're thinking, when it comes to activewear, Uniqlo is definitely not your first thought; however, after trying the AIRism range, I have been converted.

The activewear space is typically overpriced, but on a desperate pre-gym whim, I picked up the AIRism Soft Cropped T-Shirt, and expectations were low. But boy was I wrong, and for just $9.90, this is a complete steal. I hardly wear anything else to work out now, and with a wide range of colours to choose from, I own just about every colour!
