Those familiar with Gozney's elite range of pizza ovens will recognise the Tread. The "hyper portable, ultra rugged" oven launched earlier this year, allowing pizza lovers the option to chuck the oven in the boot (there's a Tread Venture Bag for that) and set it up in places you never thought possible – pizza on the slopes, why not?
The Matty Matheson Tread pizza oven makeover was born from a longstanding friendship between Gozney and Matheson, with Tom Gozney, founder and designer of Gozney, admitting that the collaboration was a long time coming.
"Matty's been part of the Gozney story almost since the beginning – nearly a decade deep. He's always been obsessed with the gear and has become a real part of the brand's DNA. So it felt natural – and honestly overdue – to create something together that truly captures that journey.
"The new limited-edition Tread is loud, bold, full of personality, and just like Matty, it doesn't take itself too seriously. To foodies, he's a renowned chef, restaurateur and YouTuber-turned-TV star who has amassed a huge following thanks to his unfiltered enthusiasm for food.
Is the Matty Matheson Signature Tread different to the Tread pizza oven?
The limited-edition oven is the Tread that launched earlier this year, except now with a personality revamp inspired by Matheson.
The Tread is still super lightweight (13.5 kg) and portable, making it perfect for those who like their wood-fired pizza on the go. Just like you'd take your BBQ camping, this pizza oven does the same, thanks to its portability. It can reach 500°C in 15 minutes and delivers the wood-fired rolling flame and consistent and even heat distribution you'd come to expect from a professional pizza oven.

Created specifically for the Tread, accessories like the Venture Stand allow users to set up on uneven surfaces with the help of the built-in level.
The Roof Rack attaches to the top of the oven to create a flat tabletop prep station to store your tools, freshly cooked pizza, and even your beer, when space elsewhere is lacking.
