I hate to say it, but winter is upon us. It might not feel like it is, as we've been blessed with sunshine recently, but it's certainly looming.

When the days get darker and cooler, I often struggle to find the motivation to run. I make excuses that it's too cold, windy, or wet, when really, I'm just being lazy.

So this year, I'm making an effort to ensure I have the right winter running gear, because as much as I'd love it to, a shorts-and-sports-bra combo won't keep me warm on its own. And even if the weather is perfect for a run, some gear helps to keep me motivated in general, too.

Fortunately, some of our favourite brands like lululemon, LSKD, and Nike have just the right things.
