Swift told Vogue in her 73 Questions interview that her favourite candle was Tree House from Byredo. Fans also spotted Santal 26 by Le Labo during the Lover secret sessions, when Taylor invited fans into her home to listen to the album before its release. Both of these candles are leathery and musky in scent, with notes of sandalwood.

Smell like Taylor

Fans had to dig deep to find out Swift's favourite scent. In 2010, she was interviewed by David Letterman, who noted that she smelled like 'expensive wood', a definite hint towards the type of scent she likes. Fans who were invited to the Reputation secret sessions reported that she wore Santal Blush by Tom Ford, which aligned perfectly with her favourite candles. Santal Blush was also spotted in the 2020 Netflix documentary, Miss Americana. 

It seems she loves the woodsy, earthy scent of Santal in general, which is made up of cardamom, sandalwood, jasmine, blondwood, orris, ambroxan, patchouli, and cashmere musks. You can grab Tom Ford's Santal Blush right here, but it is quite pricey, so we've found some similar options, too.

Taylor's favourite makeup

Swift works closely with makeup artist Pat McGrath. McGrath launched her beauty line in 2015, Pat McGrath Labs, and now pulls from her own collection to do Swift's makeup, including the music video for Bejeweled, where McGrath made a cameo.

Two of Swift's favourites are Reformation and Stella McCartney – she even collaborated with Stella on merchandise to coincide with her Lover album and wore the designer on the album artwork for both Folklore and Evermore.

We've loved seeing Swift's sartorial choices when attending the NFL. Her signature colour, red, matches the team colours of her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, who plays for the Kansas City Chiefs. Taylor's favourite books and games

It was easy to spot the fancy-looking Scrabble board in Swift's Vogue house tour. She was also seen playing it with her ex-boyfriend, Joe Alwyn, while the two endured lockdowns together. Given she's written the word 'Machiavellian' into a song, we're not surprised she's got a knack for the game.
