'That's the reason you're so fat': Food blogger's perfect response to stranger's comment

Food blogging must be so much fun and one woman, who creates content on TikTok @strawberrifyme, has a particular love of strawberries.

Which is why, when she heard about an incredible cake shop serving a strawberry dessert, she headed straight there to review it for her followers.

In the video we see her purchasing a large and delicious-looking slice of the strawberry cake but before she can even take one bite, she is confronted by a stranger who took issue not just with the size of the slice of cake she was about to eat, but the size of her body.

In the video we see her pick up her spoon but she then looks off camera at someone who is speaking to her.

It's then we hear a man ask: "Mademoiselle, are you going to eat all of that?"

She replies: "I don't know. I think I could."

He then says: "That's the reason you are so fat. You know, I'm looking at you."

And without even a moment's hesitation, the food blogger says: "Exactly, that's how I stay popular, being fat."

To which the man says: "Okay."

The woman's loyal followers are outraged at the man's comment, with many taking to the comment's section to share their feelings.

"The audacity of a stranger," wrote one.

"That was so mean. You handled it really well," another said.

"Sorry you went through that," one of the woman's followers comment.

"I bet he was just so stunning," another said.

One person said: "Mans really saw a gorgeous woman enjoying her life and said imma try to ruin this since I'm not where I wanna be in life."

Others simply praised the food blogger for her response.

"I aspire to be this level of unbothered," one wrote.

"They definitely wanted a reaction out of you to provoke you and you didn't give them that, queen," another comment.

"I'm so angry for you. You handled that way better than I would have," one person said.

"I don't understand why he felt the need to even say it. The audacity of some people. You're absolutely beautiful, love your energy," said another.

Another wrote: "The older I get, the more I realise that insults do really come from peoples own insecurities."

The video has gone viral and has been viewed 14.5 million times, with the food blogger remaining unbothered by the man's comments in the video.

"He thinks he hurt your feelings cause this is exactly what he wanted to see your reaction and you handled it really well," said one.

"He saw a stunning woman and wanted to try to tear you down. I love your response!!!!" added another.
