Woman's 'paper towel test' in hotel room divides TikTokers
A TikToker has revealed her one trick for checking just how clean your hotel room is — and the results are eye-opening.
Posting to account @alyssascleaningcompany, user Alyssa showed followers her "paper towel test", which she claims is the first thing she does when she arrives at her hotel room.

"First thing I did when I got to the hotel was the paper towel test," she writes in the video which you can watch in full above.
She then videos herself spraying her hotel room's bathroom floor, and then quickly wiping it down with a paper towel.
The video cuts to show her present the bottom side of the paper towel — which is covered in grime.
"This is why I have trust issues," she writes.
TikTokers have flocked to the comments, stunned by the user's trick. While some praised the video, others found it a bit harsh.
"They [hotel workers] turn the room in about seven minutes, what do you expect?" one user wrote.
"We can't be deep cleaning all day...we only have 20 mins per room...and mopping one room itself would take 10 mins," another shared.

Others completely disagreed.
One user criticised: "People saying this [dirt] is acceptable are crazy. A clean floor is not 'deep cleaning'. They need to hire more staff and give them more time to clean."
"My exact thoughts," Alyssa replied to the comment.
"That's exactly why I wear slippers in there," another person admitted.
