Gym goer's choice of 'nude' leggings goes viral: 'I was shocked!'

A female gym goer has received a lot of internet attention for the colour of her workout leggings.

In a video posted to TikTok, user Toupouu, who boasts 15,000 followers, captured a video of herself lifting weights at the gym.

However, in an unexpected turn of events, it was not the actual workout that caught the attention of viewers but rather, the colour of her attire.

In the clip, the nude colour tone of Toupouu's leggings gave the optical illusion that she was in fact wearing nothing at all, with many users sharing their surprise when they realised she actually was sporting bottoms.

The clip amassed more than 16 million views, over 500,000 likes, and thousands of comments from people chiming in on the situation.

One user joked, "WHY WOULD YOU CHOOSE THAT COLOUR." Another added, "Girl. Get another colour of tights."

After receiving a slew of unsolicited advice in the comments, Toupouu clapped back at the haters, advising them to focus on her workout content rather than her choice of attire.

"I love nude colours, brown, you'll have to get used to it bro," she wrote in the caption of another video. "Look [at] the squat."

The fitness influencer, who regularly shares her own workout progress as well as tips, proved that the negative comments wouldn't hold her back as she continued to sport the same leggings in following videos.
