Woman spots husband with another woman in background of reality TV show

A British woman believed she had caught her husband cheating, after seeing him in the background of reality TV show The Apprentice with another woman.

Rosa Silverman was prompted to write a piece that appeared in The Telegraph titled, ‘The day my husband was caught on The Apprentice with another woman’, after a friend sent her a screengrab of her husband enjoying a coffee with a woman and child in the background of the show.

The “sharp-eyed friend” originally sent her the photo, believing it to be Silverman, her husband, and their young child.

But, writes Silverman, that wasn’t the case.

“It was a woman with long dark hair who could have been me, had she not been wearing someone else’s coat and been much better groomed,” she wrote.

“It was, therefore, Another Woman.”

When questioned about the incident, Silverman says that her husband was able to confirm that it was indeed him and their young child, but could not initially identify the woman that he was sharing a coffee with.

“Now, I have every confidence that if my husband were to have an affair, it’s unlikely he would pick a location so close to our house, take our baby along as a prop, and conduct the whole thing in broad daylight,” she writes.

Upon further investigation however, Silverman says that her husband “finally remembered.”

“The Other Woman was in fact one of our mutual pals. He had further photographic evidence from the day itself to prove it. Not that I ever doubted him, naturally,” she adds.

Despite Silverman’s confidence that the case had been solved and all loose ends tied up, a friend of hers that had seen the screen grab wasn’t so sure. 

“Why is the panic over just because it’s one of your friends?” she asked Silverman. “It’s still perfectly possible he’s cheating on you.”
