'I slept with my boss at the office Christmas party and sorely regretted it'
They say never mix business with pleasure.
And this old proverb certainly rings true for one British office worker, Sarah Barns.
Sarah, who worked as an admin assistant at an insurance company in the UK, wasn't just nursing a hangover the morning after her office Christmas party.

Speaking with The Sun, Sarah, then aged 26, recalled how she slept with her boss during the company Christmas bash and sorely regretted it.
After harbouring a secret crush for her boss, Sarah finally had the chance to sleep with him after free-flowing booze helped her lose all inhibition.
But the hairdresser says she was left bitterly disappointed by his performance.
"He was good-looking and confident, we hit it off and had great chemistry. When December rolled around I couldn't wait for our work Christmas party and hoped we'd get it on," Sarah told the publication.
Sarah bought her boss a cheeky mistletoe for Secret Santa and "exchanged flirty glances over prosecco" before finally sneaking off together.

The woman's office crush soon became a waking nightmare when the pair slept together in her boss's office.
"He lasted about two minutes, leaving me crushed and disappointed," Sarah admitted.
"I couldn't face him after that night, but at least none of our colleagues ever suspected anything as we weren't gone long enough."
Sarah is just one of many who have jumped into bed with a work colleague or boss in the past.

According to a survey conducted by The Sun, 42 per cent of people had lusted over a colleague while 17 per cent confessed to sleeping with a co-worker at the Christmas party.
Another 15 per cent of respondents said they had cheated on their partner at the office Christmas bash.
In an episode of Talking Honey, host Shelly Horton spoke about the "perils" of the office Christmas party and why it might be a good idea to scrap them altogether.
Horton raised the question with Ben Fordham, Jo Abi and Jane de Graaff, and their answers were pretty surprising — especially when Ben was asked if he'd ever had a Christmas party pash!
