Woman arrested after knocking over drinks cart, throwing coffee on Delta flight
Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office
A woman has been arrested after allegedly knocking over a drinks cart and throwing coffee on fellow passengers during a Delta Air Lines flight.
Sarah Maria Beach, 45, was flying from London to Salt Lake City, USA on Thursday when witnesses say she began “repeatedly” sprinting down the aisle of the aircraft.
Beach also allegedly toppled the drinks trolley and threw her coffee in the air, before jumping on the back of a federal air marshal she’d been seated next to following the initial disturbance.
The criminal complaint states she placed her hands on the man’s “head, neck and jawline” and was restrained by a second air marshal, who then put her in handcuffs for the remainder of the flight.
A fellow passenger said Beach’s actions caused concern among those on board.
