The 'god send' Aldi Christmas product fans are desperately waiting for

Christmas is well and truly coming to town, and avid Aldi fans are gearing up to buy the festive season's new cult favourite item.

Aldi's luxe Christmas tree with built-in lights has become a staple in Australian households, whether they prefer a no-fuss approach or to spread a little seasonal joy.

The $99 item, labelled a "godsend" by consumers, has earned such a good reputation that users in the Aldi Mums Facebook group are already anticipating it's arrival.

One keen fan asked when the item will be available, writing: "When will Aldi Christmas built-in lights come in?"

Immediately, the post sparked a frenzy and a flurry of responses in equal measures.

"It was first week of November last year," recalled one user.

"They will sell out in most stores super early....we get the catalogue emailed to us, so you can plan in advance...good luck.." warned another.

The star product, a two-metre tall Christmas tree with lights already attached, avoids the annual headache of de-tangling strings of festive lights from the storage box and erecting a dusty tree.

Equipped with 1154 pine needle tips and 300 dual coloured lights, the tree is typically included in the supermarket chains "Special Buys" catalogue.

Last year, the tree became available on November 6.

One Facebook user in Aldi Mums claimed the shop was "doing Christmas specials differently this year," and suggested the tree could be made available over "the next few weeks."

Another suggested they were able to purchase the tree the day after the Melbourne Cup in 2019.

The time-saving tree, which comes equipped with a range of baubles and decorations, annually delights time-poor people getting into the Christmas spirit.
