Poor, unsuspecting humans stuck in their apartment when delivery driver traps them with package

 I am yet to meet a person on this earth who hasn’t had some kind of delivery frustration (not that I’m bitter, Australia postal service…) but we can probably all agree that we have now found the worst delivery driver in the world.

Twitter user Jessie Lawrence claimed that a worker for UPS left a tall, rectangular package outside his apartment door, leaving him trapped inside her own home. 

“Hey @UPS, your driver left this package under our door knob like this and trapped us in our apartment. Had to call maintenance to get out,” he wrote in a Twitter status, which has since gone viral.

While Jessie pointed out that the error was, in fact, a health and safety hazard, others take it quite so seriously…

“Looks like you got...boxed in,” one man wrote. Another added, “Plot twist: The package was a door stopper”

UPS handled the situation as online a multi-national company with a Twitter account does; by asking Jessie to DM them the details of his problem.



They added: “Drivers should always be knocking. Please DM us the details using the following link. ^MH”

A wise-cracker replied, saying: "The person running their twitter is the same person who delivered your package."

For those wondering, it appears that Jessie is finally free from the restrains of his own apartment.
