Unlikely bathroom cabinet item that gets rid of makeup stains in seconds
Cleaning expert Chantel Mila has revealed the unlikely bathroom cabinet item that will easily get rid of makeup stains.
Makeup, which is made to be water and oil-resistant, can be nearly impossible to remove in a hurry.
Anyone who has had the misfortune of dropping something like foundation or lipstick on their clothes knows the struggle.
While Mila was doing a cleaning segment on Today, host Karl Stefanovic told the expert that Sarah Abo had recently got some makeup on her skirt.

Abo chimed in, adding she dropped was "a big dollop" of lip gloss onto a "pristine white skirt".
Stefanovic said they tried to remove it with some soda water, but it didn't work, prompting Mila to reveal the unlikely bathroom cabinet item that works perfectly to remove makeup stains – shaving cream.
"Any makeup stain, just have shaving cream with you. That is one thing that I always have with me," she said.

"Even when you are getting dressed, putting on your top, and you get makeup stains on it, shaving cream gets it right off."
During the segment, she also revealed some handy cleaning tips for difficult fabrics like leather and suede.
"I've got a pair of suede shoes that I love, but any time I wear them, they're full of scuffs, a really great trick is micellar water, the makeup remover," she said.

"Put a bit on a cotton bud, rub it on your suede, always patch test it first, but it works to lift off those stains really easily.
She said that when it comes to leather, a more cautious approach should be taken.
"You have to be really careful with it, but a really light soapy mix of a bit of dishwashing liquid and warm water works."
"Buff the leather, and finish it off with a leather conditioner."

She also added that while we're supposed to wash sheets once a week, it's not always possible.
"If you think about it, when we sleep we're shedding so much bacteria, skin cells, sweat, it's all building up in the sheets, dust mites are in there too.
"If you can't [wash them weekly], I understand that might be excessive for some, then at least wash your pillowcases once a week, and wash the sheets once a fortnight."
