Perth twins hope to fall pregnant to shared boyfriend
Perth twins Anna and Lucy DeCinque made headlines this year when they announced their plans to marry their shared boyfriend.
Now the identical sisters, who famously spent $250,000 on surgery to maintain their “twin look”, are both hoping to fall pregnant to Ben Byrne - ideally at the same time.
The DeCinques have shared their latest “bold statement” in a Youtube video last week.
“We would like to have babies with Ben,” they tell their followers.
“I’m not sure if that’s possible.”
The 32-year-olds admit they have a lot of questions about the possibility of falling pregnant at the same time - or what would happen if one of them fell pregnant and the other didn’t.
“You know what, we get our periods at the same time, we’re pretty in sync,” they say.
If their dream doesn’t come to fruition, the DeCinques say they’re open to other avenues like surrogacy or IVF.
“We want to experience pregnancy together… it’s our body, it’s our life,” they say, acknowledging some people might be watching the video and thinking "wtf".
