'Forever': Tennis star Tommy Paul announces engagement to Paige Lorenze

Just when we thought the tennis excitement had come to an end with the Wimbledon finals, one of the sport's most iconic couples has shared some very exciting news.

Tommy Paul and Paige Lorenze are engaged!

The American athlete took to Instagram to share the news in a joint post with his now-fiancée.

"Forever 🤍," the couple simply captioned the post.

The first image showed Paul and Lorenze nose-to-nose as she wrapped her arms around his neck, and the second showed her hand on top of his with a stunning diamond ring.

The third and final image showed Paul sweeping Lorenze off her feet on the beach.

It seemed the engagement had been well-planned, with Lorenze wearing a white semi-sheer lace dress with a distinct bridal vibe, and Paul wearing a crisp white button up with a pair of dark jeans.

While we're not entirely sure of the timeline of the pair's relationship, what we do know is that they officially went public with their romance in October 2022.

Paul was the one to hard launch the relationship, posting a series of photos alongside the caption, "Photos by P".

Lorenze has since become a regular on the tennis circuit, with the influencer often making headlines for her chic courtside outfits.

The 2023 Australian Open actually marked a sweet moment for the couple, when Paul gave his partner an adorable shout-out during a post match interview.

"It's my girlfriend Paige's birthday tomorrow," he told the crowd.

"So, if you guys see her, make sure you wish her a happy birthday."

In September 2024, Lorenze shared a sweet tribute to her now-fiance, posting a series of black and white images alongside a heartfelt caption.

"To the best two years of my life," she wrote.

"You bring out the softest, most fun side of me. You make me optimistic, inspire me, and encourage me in everything I do.

"You are my rock, my best friend, my Tommy. I love you so much. Happy Anniversary ♥️".
