'Our lives will never be the same again': Today show reporter Izabella Staskowski welcomes first child with fiance Drew Jones
Congratulations are in order for Today reporter Izabella Staskowski, who has given birth to her first child.
The journalist and her fiance Drew Jones welcomed their son on Friday the 29th August, but waited until Father's Day to share the news online.
The couple posted a joint announcement to Instagram revealing their newest addition and sharing his name.

"Welcome to the world, Max Aleksander Jones," the couple wrote.
"Born at 9:48pm, 29-08-2025
"3.72, 53cm."

Over the past week the couple appear to have been soaking up family time with their little bundle of joy.
"You've unlocked a love we didn't know was possible, and our lives will never be the same again," they continued in their post.
"We can't wait to watch you grow up and achieve all your wildest dreams."

The couple shared a series of photos from their first week with their son too.
The first photo shows their bub laying on a bed in a sweet blue onesie.
Others show the couple with their newborn in the hospital moments after he was born.

They also captured one of their son's first baths and the moment they took him home to meet their two dogs, Dennis and Raymond.
Loved ones and colleagues were quick to share their congratulations in the comment section.
"So precious. Congratulations," wrote former Weekend Today Show weather presenter Lauren Phillips.

Shortly after announcing their son's arrival, Staskowski shared a photo of Jones and her newborn to her stories wishing him a "happy first Father's Day".
"You're our rock and we all love you so much," she added.

The couple's happy news comes three months after they revealed they were expecting their first child.
"We can't wait to meet you," the couple wrote alongside a maternity photo.
In the photo, the couple can be seen standing on a Queensland beach at sunrise.
Jones held his fiancee in his arms and cradled her baby bump as the pair beamed with excitement.

Six months earlier, the couple announced their engagement.
The pair took to Instagram with a carousel of photos from the special moment to share their happy news.

In one photo, a smiling Staskowski hugs Jones as she shows off her gorgeous oval cut solitaire diamond ring.
Another photo sees Jones down on one knee as they look into each other's eyes.
