British model breastfeeds 3-year-old daughter in new reality show
A British socialite has defended her decision to breastfeed her three-year-old on her new reality TV show.
Tamara Ecclestone is seen breastfeeding daughter Sofia while reading her a bedtime story in the first episode of ITVBe series Tamara’s World.
The daughter of Formula One billionaire Bernie Ecclestone said she intended to continue doing so until “Fifi” was ready to self-wean.

“As soon as Fifi was born she headed straight to the boob,” the 33-year-old told viewers.
“For her it's such a natural thing and it’s something that’s carried on.”
Ecclestone said breastfeeding was a source of comfort, not just nutrition for her daughter and that she was unperturbed by what others might think of her choice.

“It's the most natural thing in the world.”
Viewers of the reality series had mixed opinions on Ecclestone’s approach to feeding, with many suggesting her daughter was “too old”.
However, others were adamant fellow parents should mind their own business.

It’s not the first time the mum has attracted scrutiny over her approach to breastfeeding.
Ecclestone has been posting “brelfies” - breastfeeding selfies - since Sofia was born, and has been shocked by the negative comments she’s received.
“The hatred that breastfeeding mothers receive is simply astonishing,” she told People in February.
