Supermarket Specials: Supermarkets celebrate the start of footy season this week

I've been eating hot cross buns since November. I know, I know, it's bad to do that because... well, why?

Anyway, hot cross buns are everywhere at the moment, which is why I am excited they're are on special this week, so we can continue to eat them and share them with our loved ones in the run up to Easter.

Here are the rest of the best supermarket specials this week.

Coles

This week Coles is going big on food specials with hot cross buns just the beginning of the delicious food choices on offer this week. Delicious Australian prawns are on offer for $27 per kilo, Tasmanian salmon fillets are $30.43 per kilo and salad kits are selling for $8 for two bags.

Lilydale whole chickens, $6 per kilo

Aussie lamb rack roast, $29 per kilo

Golden crumpets, half-price at $1.85 for a six-pack

New-season pears, $2.50 per kilo

Aldi

Nothing says 'start of the footy season' more than snags and Aldi has them, proper New-York-style sausages to cook up and eat while watching your fav team win, win, win!

And they are only $12.30 per kilo.

Woolies

This week at Woolworths there are some great half-price specials that will take you from breakfast to lunch with snacks in between. Select Blackmores vitamins are half-price at Woolies this week, so too are large packs of Nutri-Grain cereal.

Cadbury medium share packs are $2.50 each and Dynamo laundry liquid is half-price at $10.

The Reject Shop

There are massive savings at The Reject Shop this week so it's a good idea to stock up so you can spend up on some of the amazing fresh food choices on offer at other retailers.
