Why this singer refuses to hire an attractive nanny

US singer Jana Kramer has revealed she will not be hiring an attractive nanny.

Kramer’s admission, made on her podcast Whine Down with Jana Kramer, comes after her husband’s past of infidelity and sex addiction. 

The former One Tree Hill star had been discussing how the couple’s nanny had recently quit, so she started searching with her husband, Mike Caussin, on Care.com.

However, what the 35-year-old found was not what she expected of potential nannies.

“I just don’t understand some of these girls that post pictures on Care.com, because I’m like, ‘Don’t you know the female is hiring?’” she said.

“I’m laughing at some of these pictures! This one photo was like, ‘Hi, I’m 22-years-old and I have perky boobs.’

“Like, don’t post the perky boob photo. You’re not going to be hired. I’m not hiring you.”

The mum-of-two went on to explain prospective nannies needed to “dress the part” and not put an Instagram photo as their profile picture.

Kramer’s tainted view on hiring this specific type of nanny may be due to her husband’s past indiscretions.

In 2016, seven months after welcoming their first child together, Jolie Rae, Caussin has been cheating on Kramer.

The pair – who are also parents to four-month-old Jace – briefly separated, and Caussin sought treatment for sex addiction and the couple eventually reconciled, renewing their vows in 2017.

However, while telling her story about her search for a nanny, Kramer insisted not hiring an attractive nanny wasn’t because she doesn’t trust Caussin, 32.

“Not that I don’t trust my husband… I just think it’s not smart,” she explained.  “I mean, you look at some of these nannies, and I’m like, ‘Well, you kinda asked for it, she’s kinda hot.’

“You know what I mean? You’re in close quarters.”

The actress even chose to mention Gavin Rossdale and Ben Affleck.

Both men were accused of cheating on their wives, Gwen Stefani and Jennifer Garner, with their nannies before their divorces.

For Kramer, she said the criteria for her family’s new nanny would be an “older” woman.

“I’m going for more [of an] Alice from The Brady Bunch,” she said.
