Reflecting upon her time on the show first time around, the actress, 60, revealed what it was like working on the set as a working mum with her two children — daughter Jaz and son Ben — she has with husband Tom Burstall.

“I don’t really remember an unhappy day at work," she explains in this week's issue of Sunday Life.

"I was able to work the schedule around my being a working mother at that time."

The mum-of-two also added that period of her life has always been "special" to her and her family.

“Maybe I’m being nostalgic and romanticising it, but it always held a special place for all of us,” she said.

Now both her children are grown, Sigrid admitted she now sees a lot of herself in her daughter, just as she sees a lot of her mother, Merle, in herself.

Referring to it as a "generation pool", the actress "clearly" sees it now, which she finds "fascinating".
