Disturbing details emerge in case of missing mum found dead
As police investigate the murder of Savannah Spurlock, grisly new details have emerged about the discovery of the mother-of-four’s body.
After months of searching her body was found last week, naked and badly-decomposed in a shallow grave on a property in Lancaster, Kentucky, more than 65 km from where Spurlock was last seen.
Her remains had been wrapped in black garbage bags and her feet bound with tape, authorities revealed.

The 22-year-old had been missing since January this year after a night out. Spurlock had just given birth to twins.
Spurlock's body was only discovered after a man reported a foul smell coming from the property where she had been poorly buried.
The property belongs to the parents of David Sparks, who lives there full time and has been a suspect in Spurlock's disappearance for months.
He is thought to have been one of the last people seen with the young mum when she disappeared on January 4.
Spurlock was last spotted getting into a car with two men after leaving a Lexington bar, while a third man followed in a separate car, the group driving to a residence around 65 km away.

Sparks, 23, has now been charged with abuse of a corpse and tampering with physical evidence but has not been charged with Spurlock's murder, though he remains in custody without bond.
On Monday, detective Tye Chavies of the Kentucky State Police revealed that a rug found buried with Spurlock matched one Spark had in his bedroom on his parents' Lancaster property where her body was found.
He had since bought a similar rug, as confirmed by CCTV footage from a nearby Walmart, and blood matching Spurlock's DNA was also allegedly found in his bedroom wardrobe.
Medical examiners are yet to reveal a cause of death and investigators have made no comment on a motive for Spurlock's murder.

She leaves behind her young twins, who are now seven-months-old, as well as two other young sons.
"She lives on through her precious boys, who each carry a special part of her in them," Spurlock's family wrote in a statement shared to Facebook.
"We know that Savannah has not been suffering all of this time."
Sparks has not yet entered pleas to the charges against him and is considered the "primary suspect" in Spurlock's murder.
