Mum whose two triplets died suddenly loses brother 10 days later

A young British mum who woke to find two of her triplets dead from suspected cot deaths has suffered another devastating blow, losing her brother just over a week later.

Sarah Owen is said to be “numb with shock” after her brother, father-of-six Steve Owen, was found dead this week — the third tragedy to strike the family in only 10 days, The SunThe Sun

It is understood Steve, who would have turned 32 yesterday, died of a suspected heart attack, days after rallying to raise money for his nephews' funerals.

Money is now being raised to help fund his own funeral and an inquest into his death is due to be opened.

Sarah has yet to speak publicly on her brother’s death. However, she recently broke her silence on losing her sons, saying she feels like she “lost my limbs”.

She paid tribute to her sons Noah and Charlie, calling them her "heart and soul", in a statement, according to Wales Online.

"We are devastated at the loss of our two beautiful babies, who, along with their brother Ethan, lit up our world.

"Noah and Charlie were my life, heart and soul. They were the happiest babies, they always had a smile for everyone and made everyone smile back.

"I would give anything to hold my beautiful boys, to see them smile, hear them laugh or even hear them cry. I am completely lost and heartbroken without them. It feels like I've lost my limbs.

"Noah and Charlie, along with their brother Ethan, were my world and life will never be the same again.

"I am proud every day to call all of them my sons and feel privileged to have been able to love and hold them.

"I love you — my beautiful baby boys — I always have and always will. You will never be forgotten.

"Lots of love your mummy xx"

The Bridgend mum's family members also released a statement requesting privacy at this difficult time.

"Words cannot describe how empty we feel at this awful time.

"We would like to thank everybody for their kind words and for their offers of support which have meant so much to us.

"Now we respectfully ask to be left alone, as a family, to grieve in peace."
