British royals join Magic Millions event on the Gold Coast

Zara and Mike Tindall have attended the Magic Millions Polo and Show Jumping event on the Gold Coast this weekend – an event the British royals have attended for several years.

They were all smiles as they posed for photos with fellow guests.

Zara, 42, chose a stripped dress from Australian designer Rebecca Vallance that features an A-line skirt and puffed sleeves, completing the look with a white belt, a Panama hat and sandals. The dress retails for $629.

She wore her shoulder-length hair out in soft waves, holding hands with her husband of 12 years.

Zara is an equestrian and has competed in the Olympics since 2012. She regularly attends sporting events such as Magic Millions and also the Epsom Derby in June 2023.

The royal couple have spoken of their fondness for Australia previously, with Mike Tindall telling The Weekly in 2023 they would love to live here "if we weren't living in England" where both their families are based.

"Living there isn't realistic because it's so far away from our families but we do love it. We've got a great friendship group in Australia and Zara has one in New Zealand as well," he said.

"We just love that part of the world and love the pace of life."

Zara and Mike met in Australia in 2003 when Zara was on a gap year and Mike was in the country playing for the England national team during the Rugby World Cup.

They have three children – Mia, who turns 10 on January 17, Lena, five and Lucas, two.
