There's a job going at Buckingham Palace.

Are you looking for a new career?

The Palace is seeking a qualified gardener to tend its grounds and the best part is, you get to live there!

And meals are provided as part of the permanent posting.

The job ad describes the right candidate as someone who would enjoy working "at the heart of a world famous institution".

You would need to keep the lawns and hedges in excellent condition, plant new shrubbery, bulbs and seasonal flower displays and, no pressure, but the world will be watching your work.

You will need to have the following traits: Motivation, self-discipline, a clean UK driving licence and confidence in driving lorries.

If you need to do some research ahead of your interview, we recommend watching the BBC doco 'The Queen's Green Planet' which was released earlier this year and saw her Majesty take Sir David Attenborough around the grounds.

Buckingham Palace has the largest private garden in all of London, made up of 40 acres of perfectly manicured lawns, some of which are four times the size of Wembley Stadium.

The grounds contain some unusual trees and wildlife and has been extensively filmed and photographed, as well as hosted plenty of gatherings attended by the Royal Family.

Some of the gatherings involve up to 10,000 people who had better not trample any flowers, if they know what's good for them.
