The Queen has conducted her first official engagement this year
The Queen has made her first official visit of the year to a Royal Air Force (RAF) base in Norfolk.
Her Majesty, 93, attended the base in Marham on Monday in her capacity as the base's Honorary Air Commodore.
RAF Marham is the home of the F-35B Lightning - a fifth-generation, multi-role, stealth fighter.
The station is also home to a range of engineering support function with over 3600 service personnel, civil servants and contractors work.

During the tour, the Queen viewed demonstrations and met with staff and trainees. She was greeted by the Station Commander Group Captain James Beck and a Guard of Honour.
Her Majesty also visited the Integrated Training Centre and met personnel from across the station, including students from the Royal Air Force and Royal Navy.

Now that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have left the royal family and relocated to Canada with their son Archie, it is expected that remaining senior royals will be busy filling in on engagements meant for them.
As part of the couple's exit deal, Prince Harry was forced to relinquish his military titles including that of Captain of the Royal Marines.

Prince Harry, 35, served in the military for 10 years and inherited the Captain General of the Royal Marines title from his grandfather Prince Philip following his retirement in 2017.
While it has not been confirmed who take on Prince Harry's titles in future, Prince William is most likely.
It is thought that the Queen's visit to the RAF base on Monday was meant to reinforce the royal family's dedication to the military following Meghan and Harry's departure.

The Queen wore a striking peach skirt suit and matching hat during the outing.
On Sunday, Her Majesty attended church, pairing a blue suit with a Canadian Snowflake brooch, given to her by the then Governor-General David Johnson on behalf of the people of Canada in 2017.
This was thought to be an 'olive branch' to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Next up for the Queen is a trip to London on Wednesday 5 February to King's Lynn to open the new Wolferton Pumping Station, which protects the local area from flooding.
The Queen's father opened the original pumping station at the site in 1946.
