Queen Elizabeth is the only reigning monarch to attend the Sydney Royal Easter Show.
She visited the iconic event in 1970 accompanied by husband Prince Philip and their children Charles and Anne.
The royals entered the grounds in a carriage before observing events.
The horse-drawn carriage did the rounds in front of a crowd of hundreds of patrons.
King Charles, then Prince Charles, was 21 at the time.
The royals walked across the grounds before taking their seats for the formal proceedings.
Charles accompanied his parents during their trip to Australia, the beginning of what would become a long relationship with the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW.
The royal visited with members of the organisation in 2024 during a trip to Sydney, attending a barbeque held in Parramatta Park with Queen Camilla.
Charles viewed events at the Sydney Royal Easter Show in 1970, fulfilling his duties as the future monarch.
He also took in a spot of polo at the show, a favoured pastime by the British royals.
