Crown Princess Victoria and Princess Sofia look radiant at state banquet
Members of the Swedish royal family, led by King Carl Gustaf, whipped out their sashes and tiaras for the first time in 2024 at a gala dinner inside Stockholm Palace.
The state banquet was in honour of visiting French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte.

French President Emmanuel Macron (left) arrived alongside his host for the evening, Sweden's King Carl Gustaf (right).
The pair walked side-by-side in white tie as they made their way into the gala dinner at Stockholm Palace on January 30, 2024 (January 31 AEDT).
Queen Silvia and Brigitte Macron followed their spouses, with Her Majesty wearing a very regal purple gown accompanied by her Cameo tiara and a red sash.
Macron wore a floor-length ice-blue coloured gown with silver embellishment and her hair in an updo.
Sweden's Crown Princess Victoria walked into the dinner on the arm of her husband Prince Daniel.
The future queen looked radiant in her one shoulder custom H&M embroidered silk ballgown with a blue sash and insignia pinned to her chest.
The Crown Princess was also seen wearing the vintage Napoleonic cut-steel tiara, which appears to be fast becoming a favourite after also featuring in her official birthday portraits last year.
Princess Sofia and Prince Carl Philip couldn't keep their eyes off each other as they made their way into the gala dinner.
Sofia glowed in the champagne coloured strapless evening gown with mesh sleeves and neckline, which similar to her sister-in-law also had insignia pinned down her chest.
The mum-of-three wore the Palmette tiara for the evening - a gift the former model received from her in-laws when she married into the royal family in 2015.
The presidential couple posed for official photos in between their hosts during the evening.
Macron was seated with Queen Silvia to one side of him and Crown Princess Victoria to the other during the gala dinner.
Queen Silvia and Macron appeared deep in conversation at one point before the French president and the King gave speeches.
