Royal Wedding 2018: Why Prince Louis won’t be attending

Saturday’s royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be a who’s who of the British royal family.

The Queen will be there at Windsor Castle, along with Prince Philip, who is recovering from hip surgery. So too Prince Harry’s father, Prince Charles and wife Camilla.

Prince William will stand by his brother’s side as his best man, no doubt giving his little brother some words of encouragement as he waits for his bride at the end of the aisle in St George’s Chapel.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte have been officially named as page boy and bridesmaid, no doubt stealing some of the limelight, while mum Kate Middleton tries to keep them in line.

But there’s one member of the royal family you won’t see.

“Sadly we won’t see Prince Louis”, says 9Honey’s royal commentator, Victoria Arbiter.

“He’s only going to be a month old.

“I expect him to be at Windsor Castle because his mum will want him close by. But he’ll be with his nanny on the day.”
