Royal children at Trooping the Colour: All their delightful antics through the years
Royal children have been making appearances at Trooping the Colour for decades, but no one has ever done it quite like Prince Louis.
He's the latest in a long line of royal kids to steal the show at the annual parade in honour of the Sovereign's official birthday, delighting onlookers with their cheeky expressions and antics.
Before Louis there were his siblings, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. Further back were his dad Prince William and uncle Prince Harry, and before even them were King Charles III and Queen Elizabeth II.

The Wales children, 2024
The Princess of Wales was all smiles as she made her first public appearance in over six months with her three children at Trooping the Colour in 2024.
Prince Louis, six, beamed as he rode to the event with his mother and siblings in a glass carriage, big sister Princess Charlotte flashing a smile to the crowds that cheered as they rode by.
The princess, nine, stared down photographers with a soft smile as she and her brothers headed to Buckingham Palace for the festivities.
Royal watchers were unsure if the Wales children would attend the parade in 2024, as their mother Kate was still undergoing cancer treatment and didn't confirm she'd be attending the event until hours before it began.
Prince George looked to be taking his royal duties seriously as he rode to Buckingham Palace in a smart navy suit and blue tie.
As second in line to the British throne, the 10-year-old must know that one day Trooping the Colour will be held in his honour when he becomes king.
George and Charlotte were well-behaved when they took to the palace balcony, though younger brother Louis didn't seem impressed.
He waved with both hands but sported a frown as the crowds cheered below. Still, this was nothing compared to his antics the year prior.
The Wales children, 2023
It was the photo that proved Prince Louis was going to be the standout star of Trooping the Colour yet again in 2023; the youngest Wales child pinching his nose and grimacing as he rode in a carriage with his siblings to Buckingham Palace.
Prince George and Princess Charlotte kept their composure at the annual parade, but Louis' antics were only just beginning.
He strutted ahead of his elder siblings as they made their way across the gravel outside the palace, all three kids dressed in coordinated ensembles.

While his siblings smiled through the festivities, Louis appeared bored, plonking his elbows down on the balcony rail and resting his face in his hands.
That is, until...
...the thrilling RAF flypast began and Louis celebrated by pumping his fists in the air and pulling a hilarious face rarely seen on a royal.
This photo became one of the most popular images to come out of Trooping the Colour that year, with royal fans delighting over the youngest Wales child's antics.
And it was far from the first time he won hearts with his cheeky attitude.
The Wales children, 2022
In 2022, George, Charlotte and Louis made their first appearance at the parade in two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In 2020 and 2021, the event was reduced to a tiny service at Windsor Castle attended by only the late Queen Elizabeth II.
It was back in full force in 2022 and the Princess of Wales - then the Duchess of Cambridge - was snapped having a quiet moment with her children as they geared up for the big day ahead.
