The world reacts to the birth of Baby Sussex
The world has woken to the news that Baby Sussex has finally arrived.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have welcomed a healthy baby boy, and both celebrity friends and political heavyweights alike have sent their well-wishes.

Former US First Lady Michelle Obama has sent the following message:
“Congratulations, Meghan and Harry! Barack and I are so thrilled for both of you and can’t wait to meet him.”
British Prime Minister Theresa May has wished the Duke and Duchess of Sussex "all the best".

"Congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on the arrival of their baby boy," she posted on Twitter. "Wishing you all the best at this happy time."
Bishop Michael Curry, who gave a sermon about love at Harry and Meghan's wedding, tweeted: "The Jewish tradition reminds us that the birth of every child is a reminder that God is not finished with us yet. There is hope. Congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and prayers of blessing for them and their baby."

Meghan's wedding makeup-artist, Daniel Martin, regrammed the Palace's announcement, saying: "Proud #guncle."

Ellen DeGeneres, tweeted: "The #royalbaby is here! Congratulations, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. The baby is 7th in line for the throne, which is crazy, because right now I’m 7th in line for the key-making kiosk at my grocery store. @RoyalFamily."
The baby was born on Monday May 6 and is the first child for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. And Ellen got it right. Baby Sussex is seventh in line to the throne.
