Queen Elizabeth grins from ear-to-ear on Day Two of Royal Ascot, despite the weather

It was a soggy day at Royal Ascot on Wednesday but the weather did not dampen Queen Elizabeth's enthusiasm.

Holding her own umbrella in the Royal enclosure, Her Majesty was seen grinning from ear-to-ear on Day Two of the annual horse racing event.

Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall also added some colour to the gloomy day in a mint dress PA/AAP

Dressed in a summery sky blue coat dress and hat combo, the monarch brightened up the scene track-side with an array of flowers adorning her headpiece.

Similarly, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall added some colour to proceedings in a mint dress and matching hat, while Prince Charles opted for a grey morning suit.
