Why people think this is The Queen's protest outfit

While it's well-known The British Royal Family are not allowed to share their political persuasions, it seems they may be wearing their heart on their sleeve.

People have been picking up little notes in The Queen's clothing they believe are subtle cues to how Her Majesty really feels about a situation.

First, people noticed the broach she wore to meet President Trump was one gifted to the British monarch by Barack and Michelle Obama when they were in the White House.

And now some Royal watchers have picked up that the coat dress the 92-year-old was wearing for the afternoon tea at Windsor Castle has been seen before too.

However, this is not good news for Donald and Melania Trump, with the last time the Queen was seen wearing the blue jacquard ensemble, it's understood she was protesting against the Brexit referendum that had just taken place.

Her Majesty was seen wearing the outfit for the State Opening of Parliament in 2017 and paired it with a matching hat.

However, at the time, many speculated the floral motif was an homage to the EU flag with it's uncanny resemblance.

While it's not known exactly if this particular ensemble has any specific meeting, it will be interesting to see when The Queen pulls it out of the Royal Wardrobe next.

Trump came under fire after the meeting for disrespecting the monarch by walking ahead of her and breaking protocol.
