Queen Mary of Denmark's dazzling appearance draws near-identical similarity to the Princess of Wales
The royal world is small, which often means the country's monarchs are compared to one another. However, there are two members who truly share a striking resemblance.
Australian-born Queen Mary of Denmark left onlookers doing a double-take as she stepped out over the weekend, looking nearly identical to Catherine, Princess of Wales.
The two stylish royals both share an impeccable fashion sense and are known for their luscious brunette locks.

On Friday (Saturday in Australia), the Danish monarch stepped out to the Evening Party for Art and Culture alongside her husband, King Frederik X, and she looked glaringly similar to Catherine.
Mary looked exquisite as she arrived in a Jenny Packham gown, a London designer whose designs are a staple in Catherine's wardrobe. The gown featured long sleeves adorned with countless sequins and a collar of diamonds.
The dazzling creation was previously worn by the royal when she celebrated her 50th birthday, but it has also been worn by Catherine before.

At a Diplomatic Corps reception at Buckingham Palace, on December 5, 2023, Catherine stepped out in her royal regalia and the same Jenny Packham gown.
The two royals also wore their hair in the exact same style, allowing their similar tiaras to sparkle.
Despite their 10-year age gap, it isn't the first time the pair have been likened to 'sisters' as they are often caught wearing the same royal-approved styles.

The Danish royal family's Instagram page captured moments of Mary's night out on this momentous royal occasion.
"After the dinner at the Evening Party for Art and Culture, the Knight Hall at Christiansborg Castle was transformed into a large dance floor," the post began.
"According to tradition, Les Lanciers were danced, where Their Majesties the King and Queen also participated. 💃🕺🪩"
"For more than 150 years, Les Lanciers have been danced at Hoffet's parties. To this day, it continues to be a tradition, which is held up to a number of events at the Royal House," the post continued.
The post concluded: "The dance consists of five rounds, danced by the four pairs of the quadrilles. The fifth trip is called 'men's mill' and is a Danish addition to Les Lanciers."
