Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, Prince William and Kate Middleton have reunited at the Queen's Platinum Jubilee Service of Thanksgiving at St Paul's Cathedral in London amid rumours that the rift between them has not healed. Well, kind of.

The Sussexes arrived at the cathedral prior to the Cambridges, just after the Wessexes, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie and their husbands. Following the Cambridges was Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall. Her Majesty did not attend the service like planned due to mobility issues, she watched from home instead.

Harry, 37, and Meghan, 40, smiled and waved at the crowds, which were cheering loudly, as they entered the cathedral, only to take their seats away from the Cambridges.

The Sussexes were sitting with Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, with Harry seated next to Eugenie's husband, Jack Brooksbank. Meghan, meanwhile, was sitting next to Lady Sarah Chatto, Princess Margaret's daughter.

Prince Edward, his wife Sophie, Countess of Wessex, and their two children, Lady Louise Windsor and Viscount Severn sat in front of the Sussexes, to the left of the altar.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, meanwhile, were sitting with Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, to the right of the altar. The Princess Royal, Anne, was sitting with this group.

Zara Tindall and Mike Tindall were seated behind the Cambridges.

While the Cambridges and the Sussexes were not seated together, both groups were given a prime position at the front of the church.

Harry smiled as he greeted his cousins and took his seat, pulling a funny face while looking at the direction of the Tindall's.

The Sussexes got their own procession down the aisle, with the Cambridges not walking down the aisle to their seats until after the Sussexes were seated.

The seating arrangements at the Service of Thanksgiving come amid rumours the royal rift between the former 'Fab Four' has not healed.

Royal commentator Omid Scobie said earlier this week that the relationship between William and Harry has not warmed in the last two years since the Sussexes resigned from royal life and moved to the United States.

"What I've been told by sources is that things haven't changed at all," Scobie told journalists in London at a Foreign Press Association event earlier this week.

"I didn't expect that, because two years ago the feeling amongst those around the brothers [was] that there would slowly be steps forward.

"We, of course, saw that moment with William and Harry at the funeral of Prince Philip where we saw them walking side-by-side, and I think for us all watching we thought that maybe the ice was thawing a little bit, but that's clearly not the case," he said.

Scobie said that still, there is "very little communication" between Harry and William.

He did, however, remain optimistic that the Platinum Jubilee would bring them closer, as it is the first time Harry has been able to visit the United Kingdom without the death of a family member over his head – his first visit was for the funeral of Prince Philip, and the second was for the unveiling of a statue of his mother, Princess Diana.

"This is a very positive moment and I would like to think that that might feed into the brothers taking at least one step forward," Scobie said.
