Queen Elizabeth 'to advise' Meghan Markle on how to handle PR blunders: reports

Queen Elizabeth might be officially on summer holidays now as she spends time in Balmoral.

But according to one royal expert, Her Majesty will use the down time with her family to school them on how to improve in their royal duties.

Phil Dampier believes in particular, the Queen will chat to Meghan Markle about "things that could have been done better" in the wake of some PR blunders, such as the Wimbledon photo furore.

"This might be a good opportunity to have, not an assessment of her, but a quiet chat away from the madding crowds as to how she thinks it is going," he told The Sun.

"I think in quiet moments and quiet walks up by the river the Queen might have a few words of advice for her.

"I’m sure there must be things where she perhaps thinks things could be done better, so I’m sure she would give her some advice, especially if she asks for it."

The 93-year-old, who is the longest reigning British monarch, would have plenty of knowledge and tips to share with the actress-turned-duchess.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will make their way to the Scottish castle with newborn son Archie, reportedly in time to celebrate Meghan's August 4 birthday there.

Not only will it be the two-month-old bub's first time at Balmoral but it's understood this is Meghan's first invite to the Queen's summer home as well.

Her Majesty is said to be a big fan of the Duchess, with 9Honey's royal commentator, Victoria Arbiter explaining: "Meghan is a young lady who has been independently successful within her own right."

"She is very smart. She went to Northwestern University in the US which is a very prestigious university [and] she supported herself."

According to Victoria, it's Meghan's motivation to carve out her own path that has impressed her grandmother-in-law most.
