Princess Mary's awkward on stage moment while presenting 2018 Design Awards
As Princess Mary handed out trophies at the 2018 Design Awards, there was a very awkward moment for the Australian-born Royal.
After presenting one of the accolades - a plaque in a wooden box - the 46-year-old posed for the obligatory photos with the winning Danish Designer of the Year.
However, as they smiled, the plaque fell out onto the stage floor, leaving Princess Mary and the winner visibly stunned.
Mega
But ever the professional (and Aussie), Mary laughed off the hiccup and carried on.
The Danish Royal presented a total of 12 awards at the Bellevue Theatre, located on the northern outskirts of Copenhagen, at a ceremony on Thursday evening.
Perhaps following in the Duchess of Sussex's fashion footsteps, the Crown Princess donned a matching two-piece pant set sure to make others green with envy, in the colour of the season - emerald.
The annual design awards honour the best Danish designers and design talents and brings together home magazines Bo Bedre, Bolig Magasinet, Costume Living and Nordic Living.
