Princess Iman of Jordan pregnant with first child

The Jordanian palace is filled with joy after some happy news shared by Queen Rania.

Taking to her Instagram account, the royal shared a photo of her daughter, Princess Iman, and her husband Jameel Thermiotis, with their silhouettes visible against a beach sunset.

The Queen wrote in the caption in Arabic, "Both are dear to my heart, but the coming one is more precious 😉 ..... May God end well."

She added in English, "Two is a couple, three is a blessing," confirming that Princess Iman is pregnant.

In the photo, the 28-year-old royal can be seen wearing a hat with her baby bump protruding as she faces her husband, who is copying her stance looking at her with his hands behind his back.

Thermiotis was born in Caracas, Venezuela to a Greek family and currently works at a venture capital firm in New York City.

it is believed the pair met in the US when Iman attended Georgetown University in Washington, D.C before transferring to Parsons School of Design, also in New York City.

The couple wed in March 2023 in a lavish wedding held at Beit Al Urdun – the private residence of King Abdullah II and Queen Rania.

The bride wore a diamond tiara for her special day and an ivory duchess satin gown with a high-neck made from lace.

The gown, which featured long sleeves with lace detailing at the cuffs, was custom-made by French fashion house Dior.

Princess Iman's long train was also made from delicate lace, and she accessorised with diamond earrings to match her tiara, which was believed to be a new piece.

The new arrival will not be the first grandchild of the Jordanian royal family, with that honour having gone to Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan and his daughter Princess Iman, named after his beloved younger sister.
