Princess Charlotte's 11th birthday photo has everyone saying the same thing
Princess Charlotte is now 11, and it seems no one can quite believe it.
The Prince and Princess of Wales have marked their only daughter's birthday by sharing a new portrait and home-style video, and there's a clear theme in sentiment in the social media comments.
"I feel like it was yesterday when we heard the news about her birth and now look at her!" one fan writes on Instagram.

"I remember the first time we saw her on the steps on the Lindo Wing swaddled in her mother's arms. Time flies," another says.
"It feels like only yesterday we were waiting outside the Lindo Wing to catch the first glimpse of this little Princess. Now, she's a pre-teen!"
Yes, the royal baby girl introduced to the world on the steps outside London's St Mary's hospital – which has the Lindo Wing maternity department – really is an 11-year-old now.

The portrait, captured by William and Kate's go-to photographer Matt Porteous, shows Charlotte standing among daisies, wearing jeans and a striped jumper.
What's immediately clear is she's inherited her mum's famous long hair, with Charlotte's now almost at her waist.
Another detail royal fans have picked up is her blue nail polish – a fitting choice for a pre-teen.
Hours after sharing the photo, the Waleses had another treat in store.

They shared a short compilation of videos of the young royal, seemingly filmed during a family day out.
"Thank you for the lovely birthday messages for Princess Charlotte, 11 today!" the caption read.
Charlotte is seen on a boat, first patting the family's two dogs, Cocker spaniels Orla and Otto, and then sitting with Orla in her arms.

William and Kate only introduced Otto, their new addition, to fans two days ago by sharing a photo online.
Charlotte is also seen on the beach, aranging stones in the stand and playing cricket.
