Princess Beatrice tops list of Britain's best dressed beating out other stylish royals
The Princess of Wales is admired the world over for her fashion choices, winning a legion of fans in the early days for mixing High Street with designer pieces.
More than a decade since marrying into the royal family, Catherine remains one of the monarchy's best dressed and often sits at the top of lists dedicated to royal fashion alongside other stylish royalty from across Europe including Denmark's Queen Mary and Spain's Queen Letizia.
But in a newly-released poll of Britain's well-heeled, Kate has been beaten to first place by another royal in the Windsor clan.

And she may not be at the top of everyone's mind when when it comes to fashion royalty.
Princess Beatrice has been named by society bible Tatler as Britain's best dressed, topping a list of 25 "style kings and queens" in the magazine's all-important September issue.

"Once the subject of much jest thanks to that Philip Treacy hat at the Prince and Princess of Wales's wedding, Beatrice has since become a beacon of sartorial elegance, pairing vintage-inspired cuts with fresh-from-the-catwalk glamour," Tatler writes.

"Resplendent in Richard Quinn, mesmerising in Monique Lhuillier or beaming in Beulah London, the princess is the pinnacle of contemporary splendour."

In 2011, Princess Beatrice and her sister Princess Eugenie were criticised for their outfits worn to Prince William and Kate's wedding at Westminster Abbey.

Princes Eugenie later spoke about the impact the mockery and cruel comments had.
"There was a horrible article that had been written about Beatrice and she got really upset," Princess Eugenie said.
"We were just about to step out and she had a bit of a wobble and cried. I was looking after her. And then about an hour later, I had a wobble and started crying and Bea was there for me."
In the years since Beatrice, 35, has proven her fashion credentials with countless looks receiving praise from royal fans.
Six years ago, she began working with stylist Olivia Buckingham who is believed to have transformed the princess' wardrobe.
Tatler added: "But you don't need a title or tiara to rule the red carpet, royal weddings or the steps of The OWO [Old War Office, near Buckingham Palace]...Fashion favours the brave – and the bon vivant."
Another another surprising figure to make up the top five is Queen Camilla's sister Annabel Elliot.

The interior designer, who was recently dumped from Prince William's Duchy of Cornwall payroll, was praised for her sartorial choices following her appearance alongside the Queen at the coronation.
"The Queen's sister doesn't stand in the shadows," Tatler says.
"It's graceful satin sets and velvet suits all the way."

Elliot was among the Queen's six 'Queen's companions' appointed in November, 2022, replacing the traditional role of ladies in waiting.
Both women were at Her Majesty's side throughout the coronation, and later on the Buckingham Palace balcony, wearing long, ivory dresses designed by Fiona Clare.
Rounding out the top 10 is Lady Victoria Starmer, the wife of newly-elected British Prime Minster Sir Keir Starmer, who has come to favour Me+Em, a brand often worn by Princess Beatrice, Zara Tindall, the Princess of Wales and recently Queen Mary of Denmark.
It's unclear whether the Princess of Wales made the full list with the rest of the 25 chosen to be revealed when the physical magazine hits stands.
