The unusual title that will be given to Princess Beatrice's baby
Princess Beatrice's new child will be given an unusual title, but not from the baby's ties to the British royal family.
Beatrice's husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi descends from nobility.
"Edoardo is the only male descendent taking the family into the next generation," his father, Count Allessandro Mapelli Mozzi, told the Daily Mail.
"He is a count, his wife will be a countess automatically and any of their children will be counts or nobile donna."

So Beatrice's husband's official title is Count Edoardo Alessandro Mapelli Mozzi, and Wolfie, his son from a previous relationship, is a count.
Beatrice and Mapelli Mozzi's daughter Sienna is a countess or "nobile donna."
The new baby will too be a count or countess. Upon her marriage to Mapelli Mozzi in 2020, Princess Beatrice also became a countess.
Princess Beatrice and sister Princess Eugenie are the only children of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson. They were bestowed British royal titles upon their births however their children will not receive royal titles.

King Charles could bestow a title on his great-niece or nephew if desired, but it is unlikely to be asked for as this didn't happen for Sienna.
Princess Eugenie's children with husband Jack Brooksbank, sons August and Ernest, do not have royal titles.
The children of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Archie, five, and Lilibet, three, were only bestowed royal titles after King Charles' ascension to the British throne in 2022 following Queen Elizabeth's death in September.
The children of Queen Elizabeth's daughter, Princess Anne, also do not have royal titles.
Peter Phillips and Zara Tindall were entitled to be styled as His and Her Royal Highness Prince Peter and Princess Zara, however their parents reportedly declined the offer.
