Princess Anne cancels more royal engagements amid continuing recovery from accident
The Princess Royal has cancelled further upcoming engagements as she continues to recover from a recent accident.
Princess Anne, 73, was due to visit NLV Pharos, a lighthouse tender in Scotland on Monday and Tuesday, and Brancaster Station and Citizens Advice Norwich in Norfolk on Thursday, however has cancelled these appearances.
Linda Lawrence from the National Coastwatch Institution (NCI), of which Anne is patron, said it is hoped the royal visit will be rescheduled for the autumn, according to the Norwich Evening News

The royal was also scheduled to attend a barbecue with London Scottish Rugby on Thursday, however the club confirmed Princess Anne will no longer be in attendance in a Facebook post.
"We are sorry to announce that HRH Princess Anne will no longer be in attendance for our pre-season BBQ on 18th July as she returns to reduced duties. We wish her well in her recovery," read the post.
Princess Anne cancelled several planned appearances, including her attendance at the state banquet for the Japanese emperor and empress, as well as an upcoming trip to Canada upon doctor's advice.

Princess Anne did visit the Military Intelligence Battalion at Bulford Barracks, Salisbury, Wiltshire on Wednesday, and on July 12 the royal visited the Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA UK) National Championships at Hartpury University and Hartpury College.
This visit was her first appearance since being released from hospital where she spent five nights in hospital being treated for a concussion after suffering a minor head injury from horse-related incident on here Gatcombe Parke estate on June 23.

Princess Anne has been a patron of Riding for the Disabled Association since 1971 and president since 1986, with the association celebrating its 55th anniversary this year.
Helena Vega Lozano, chairman of RDA UK, said: "It's a huge honour for the Princess to come to the RDA as her only event since the accident.
"As soon as she got out of the car she said: 'I can't remember a single thing about it'."

Buckingham Palace said in a statement: "The Princess Royal has sustained minor injuries and concussion following an incident on the Gatcombe Park estate yesterday evening.
"Her Royal Highness remains in Southmead Hospital, Bristol, as a precautionary measure for observation and is expected to make a full and swift recovery."
"The King has been kept closely informed and joins the whole Royal Family in sending his fondest love and well-wishes to The Princess for a speedy recovery," it continued.
