Royal fans notice 'odd' detail in photo of Prince William

Royal fans have noticed an 'odd' detail in a photo of Prince William, taken during a recent visit to Duchy College Stoke Climsland in Callington.

During the visit the Prince of Wales took part in a CSI activity which saw him examining 'evidence' and testing for fingerprints.

It was during this activity that royal fans noticed Prince William using his right hand to use the brush.

Prince William is left-handed, as were King George VI and the Queen Mother.

William's children Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, nine, and Prince Louis, six, are all reportedly right-handed.

Prince William, who was a pilot in the RAF, started his visit at the college with students at the military academy, taking part in crime scene investigation training.

The 42-year-old listened intently as the scenario was explained to him behind yellow tape.

He also cautiously stood next to a car being forensically examined before grabbing a pot of dust and a brush to take part in the exercise and reveal finger prints.

William wore a navy suit with a light blue shirt underneath and kept his unshaven look, with his beard appearing longer.

After taking part in the CSI training, the royal also visited a student-run cafe on campus and heard from students who are part of the Future Farm program.

He then went on a walkabout and met other students on campus, even posing for selfies.

It's been a busy 24 hours for Prince William, who attended the CentrePoint awards with his younger Spencer cousins last night and before that performed an investiture ceremony at Windsor Castle.

During the ceremony, he made former New Zealand prime minister Jacinda Ardern a Dame Grand Commander of the New Zealand Order of Merit.

While Prince William holds the fort in the UK, his father King Charles and Queen Camilla are due to arrive in Australia today for a royal tour.
