Prince William reveals the truth behind his love for Tina Turner in tearful interview
Prince William has revealed the true reason he has such a soft spot for the Queen of Rock 'n' Roll, Tina Turner.
In a tearful interview, William shared how Turner was one of the many artists his mother would cheerfully singalong to with him and his brother, Prince Harry, while on the way to school, The Times reports.
"One of the songs I massively remember and has stuck with me all this time, and I to this day still quite enjoy secretly, is Tina Turner's 'The Best,'" William shares.

According to The Times, the prince teared up while recording the interview for Time to Walk, an Apple Music "audio experience" which encourages listeners to do more walking for mental health and fitness. (The full interview will be available on Apple Music Monday.)
The prince continues: "Sitting in the back seat, singing away, it felt like a real family moment."
Harry recalls how his mother would 'sing at the top of her voice' on the drive to school, and even get their security guard humming a tune. Getty

Recalling the memory, William says: "My mother, she'd be driving along singing at the top of her voice. We'd even get the policeman [security] in the car — he'd occasionally be singing along as well.
"We'd be singing and listening to the music right the way up to the gates at school where they dropped you off."
And it appears Prince Harry also shares this love for Tina Turner.
