Prince William shares why he's 'nervous' about tackling homelessness in the UK
Prince William is working to end homelessness in the UK through his Homewards foundation, but he's not blind to the challenges he faces.
In his two-part docu-series, Prince William: We Can End Homelessness, the royal opened up about the reality of the situation he's facing.
"I think I'm feeling optimistic. I'm feeling enthusiastic," he said.

"I'm nervous about the challenge and scale of what we're going to do, and last thing you want to do is start something that you can't finish.
"I'm not sitting here saying I'm going to sort of, you know, solve the entire world's homelessness problems. But I am going to show people how to prevent homelessness," he added.
The Prince of Wales credits his late mother, Princess Diana, for his passion toward the issue, saying she "would've thought I was probably mad to start off Homewards."
"I was very small. I think probably I must have been 8 or 9, I think. And my mother started talking about homelessness, so I was probably on the school run," he shared.
"And I remember at the time asking questions as to why, how, who is that? Well, why they're sitting there? You know, when you're that small, you're just curious and kind of trying to work out what's going on."

He shared that his mother heavily influenced his passion toward the issue. The Passage via Reuters via CNN Newsource
He added that when his mother explained homelessness to him, he felt a "deep resonation" with the issue.
"Not just because of the moments I had, but because of the connection I felt," William said.
"And I know that sounds weird, but when you feel human connection with somebody who's been in deep trouble, I challenge anyone not to feel a desire to help."
