Prince William named world's sexiest bald man

Prince William has been named the world's sexiest bald man, beating out Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, Jason Statham and Michael Jordan for the title.

The Duke of Cambridge earned the crown following an analysis of Google by cosmetic surgery specialists Longevita, with William, 38, being described as "sexy" an extraordinary 17.6 million times in blogs, reports and pages.

"There are quite a few bald public figures we can feast our eyes on," a spokesperson for Longevita told The Sun.

After the results were shared on social media, a furious debate ensued about the validity of the analysis with many questioning why actor Stanley Tucci was left off the list.

"What did Stanley Tucci do to deserve this disrespect," one person tweeted. "This is gross Stanley Tucci erasure."

Other's called the result a "slap for bald men everywhere".

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson tweeted: "How in the cinnamon toast f*ck does this happen – when Larry David clearly has a pulse?!?!?!" adding the hashtag #demandingarecount.

Prince William isn't the only bald/balding member of the British royal family, with Prince Philip at 99 hosting very little hair. Prince Charles and Prince Harry are also on the balder side of the hair spectrum.

It seems, however, that Prince Harry isn't quite bald enough to be included on this list.

Prince William is a popular member of the monarchy as third in line to the throne following the Queen and his father, Prince Charles. He and wife Kate Middleton were credited with breathing new life into the institution following their wedding in April 2011.

Since then they have welcomed three children – Prince George, seven, Princess Charlotte, five, and Prince Louis, four.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have focused much of their work on youth mental health and during the coronavirus pandemic stayed in touch with royal followers via video calls from their home at Kensington Palace. The couple recently attended the National Day of Reflection in the UK, marking one year since the lockdown. The ceremony was held at Westminster Abbey, where they and many royals before them wed, and followed a visit to the Abbey's own vaccination centre that is currently operating.
