The royals have attended Prince Philip's memorial at Westminster Abbey in London overnight and viewers couldn't help but notice a number of key royals chose to wear green to the event.

Called Edinburg Green, it's Prince Philip's official colour or 'livery' used by the late royal for staff uniform and private cars. It was even the shade of his signature Land Rover and the colour adorned his coffin at his funeral in 2021.

The Queen chose to wear a suit in Edinburg Green to the memorial held at Westminster Abbey overnight as well as a brooch believed to have been gifted to her by Prince Philip. She also used his walking cane at the service.
