The Prince and Princess of Wales share rare official photo of 'cheekiest royal' Prince Louis to mark his eighth birthday
Royal fans were left utterly besotted as the Prince and Princess of Wales celebrated the eighth birthday of Prince Louis with a rare official photo.
Louis, who has been a fan-favourite after consistently pulling cheeky faces during regal events, had his toothy grin on full display as he posed for his portrait.
Catherine, 44, and Prince William, 43, also accompanied the photo with a never-before-seen video snapshot of their lives on a holiday together in Cornwall, England.

Alongside the video were the words: "Thank you for all the birthday wishes for Prince Louis. 8 is great!"
A particularly special moment showed the young prince grinning as he ran through the sand, enjoying a getaway with siblings Prince George, 12, and Princess Charlotte, ten.
Prince Louis Arthur Charles was born on April 23, 2018, at St Mary's Hospital in London.

To mark the birthdays of their children, the Prince and Princess of Wales continue their annual tradition of releasing a new portrait.
These images serve as a thank you to the public for their well-wishes throughout the year.

While professional photographers are often called in – in this case the family's long-trusted photographer, Matt Porteous, was requested – Kate also frequently steps behind the lens herself to capture these candid family moments.
Last year, his birthday portrait marked a noteable grown-up change for Louis.
In addition to missing his two front teeth, he was also sporting a pair of jeans – the first time he's worn such attire in a birthday photo.
The update from the Prince and Princess of Wales comes after Meghan and Prince Harry wrapped up their tour of Australia.
Neither the Duke or Duchess of Sussex have well-wished Louis yet, but it's perhaps a sentiment that will be shared privately instead.
