The very trendy gift Kate received for Prince Louis
Prince Louis is one lucky little boy. At just 15 months old, he's been given a very special gift by one of the world's greatest tennis players.
American tennis legend Stan Smith has gifted the young royal with a pair of his iconic sneakers.
Smith, 72, was seen handing over the tiny white shoes to Louis's mother Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, at Wimbledon on Sunday.

The Duchess was attending the Men's Finals match with her husband Prince William. They were seated in the Royal Box, with Smith just a few rows behind.
He presented a pair of the shoes to the little prince, which bore the message "to Louis" in gold on the side and were signed by Smith.
Although Smith is one of the greatest players of all time – he won the US Open and Wimbledon in the 1970s – he's probably best known for his shoes.

The athlete teamed up with Adidas in 1972 to produce the Stan Smith sneaker, which has sold more than 50 million pairs since it was released - making it the brand's most popular trainer of all time.
Kate's sister-in-law Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, is a fan, having worn the sneakers during her tour of New Zealand in 2018 with Prince Harry.
No doubt little Louis will give the shoes a good workout. He was seen running around during an outing to the polo last week and according to his parents, tennis is a sport the Cambridge children adore.

Kate recently revealed Prince George has hit a few balls with Wimbledon champion Roger Federer.
The Cambridges have a tennis court at their country home, Anmer Hall in Norfolk, and both Kate and Prince William are keen players.
Federer, too, commented on his young protegees, saying Prince George has "a good hit" adding, "He’s a cute boy. I love to see they’re into tennis or into sport."
