Prince George and Princess Charlotte have stolen the show at their brother's christening, playing up to the waiting media outside The Chapel Royal.

The baptism marked the first time Prince Louis has been seen in public since his birth, and was also the first time we've seen the Cambridges out and about as a family of five.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrived at St James's Palace cradling their 11-week-old son ahead of his baptism.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte each held on to their dad's hands as he guided them towards the chapel.

Prince George, who turns five later this month, looked quite nonplussed despite the significance of the occasion.

He even appeared to stifle a yawn as he was introduced to the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, at the entranceway.

His younger sister, Princess Charlotte, looked a little more interested in the day's events - even if she did have her fingers in her mouth.

When the party of five left the chapel at the completion of the baptism, three-year-old Charlotte looked over at the media and gave them a cheeky warning.

"You're not coming," she told the waiting photographers.

A stern reminder that Prince Louis' christening tea was a strictly private celebration.

The three-year-old even kept a watchful eye on the media pack to make sure no one tried to step out of line.

Charlotte was dressed in a blue and white dress with a floral pattern – a variation of a strikingly similar dress the little royal has worn on several occasions. She even has the dress in pink.

Her mother added a blue headband with a bow, to decorate Charlotte's hair.

Prince George was also dressed in an outfit that bore similarities to other clothes he has worn in the past.

It appears the Cambridges are making a pointed effort to dress their children outfits the public has seen before.
